My father is a Beatles fan, I grew up listening to their songs. We sang Here, There and Everywhere together in Videoke . Our Sunday will be not complete if we did not listen or watch a Beatles song or movies.

For a girl who grew up listening to Beatles its not difficult to fall in love with the Eraserheads. I was about 9 or 10 when I heard Eraserheads. Since then, I became a fan.
But the song With a Smile made a big impact and influence with my life. I was a grade conscious before because I am an honor student when I was in my elementary days, so when I had my first 79 in my Enriched Math during my first year in high school I was so devastated. I did not even know how to tell my parents about it. Then suddenly I heard Ely sings With a Smile on the radio. As if his voice comforts me that everything is going to be fine. So I moved on and study more to fix my grades.



When I have my first heart broken by a guy, I also listen to that song. As if Ely is telling me that it's okay so I did not lose my faith in love. Fall in love one more time, always one more time.

When I did not graduate on time in college in 2010, I cried myself to sleep. I did not check my Facebook account because all my college friends will post their pictures wearing togas. And that same song helps me along the way. So I graduated in 2011. I got a job in a construction company.

So every time I was feeling down I listen to that song.

I was in high school when Eraserheads break up and I was still in College when they reunite and do their reunion concert, but being an Iskolar ng Bayan the price of the ticket is difficult for me to produce so I just watch it on TV. So when I graduated from college and got a job I make sure that I will save some of my earnings as my Eraserheads concert funds. Ha-ha.



And finally in 2012 I learn that Ely Buendia will sing at Glorietta Mall so I was excited when I got my ticket.



 And also I bought another ticket for his Trip Down to Memory Lane Show.
